Zoning Officer

Mark Deimler of Solanco Engineering was appointed as Zoning Officer and BCO for 2024. 

Julie Musser will act as Asst. Zoning Officer for Colerain Township. 

They will be responsible for the issuance of building permits and inspection of construction sites.  If you are contemplating any improvements or alterations to your home, property, or business, contact Mark or Julie to discuss your plans and determine if any permits or approvals are required by the township.  We recommend this before spending large sums of time, effort, and money on formal plans.  Mark also assigns house numbers.

Specific questions regarding building permits, etc. should be directed through their Zoning Office.

You may call or visit without an appointment Monday -Friday 8:00 to 4:30. Any other time will be by appointment.

There will no longer be Zoning Hours at the Township Building. You must pick up all paperwork from the Quarryville Office  or you may download forms from our website  for your convenience. All submissions must be taken to Solanco Engineering.
