In 2013 Lancaster County informed Municipalities that they would be forced to adopt
a Storm Water Ordinance and that they must also follow the County Model very closely.
After months of deliberating with Engineers and the Colerain Township Planning Commission
it was adopted on May 7, 2014. The main goal of the Ordinance is to keep the first inch of
runoff on your property. If you are considering a building project, please contact the Zoning Officer,
Tom Wargo (215-287-0424) so he may direct you further. If you have questions directly
related to the Storm Water Ordinance please call our Storm Water Engineer, Bob Berry at 484-831-5795.
